Daniel Morris
Project Music Board Chairman
Dan Morris serves as the Project Music Board Chairman. Dan has served on the Project Music Board since 2018, and is currently the longest tenured board member. Dan has seen firsthand the power of music as an instrument of education, community, self-esteem, and inclusion.
Dan has experienced a lifetime in the music community which started with his father in New York City where he was raised. His father was a renown entertainment lawyer, and his clients spanned all musical genres and roles within the industry. Dan started playing violin when he was 7 years old, and has added piano, guitar, and percussion to his skill set – all to varying degrees of success! Dan currently plays bass guitar in a local band.
Dan is currently a financial advisor based in the area, working with families and companies. He has been a resident of Stamford for the last quarter century, raising 2 children with his wife. Besides Project Music, Dan has also served on several local nonprofit boards in Connecticut.
