“The Apple Boys” is a fast-paced, optimistic, four-person musical set in turn-of-the-century Coney Island. Jack, the grandson of Johnny Appleseed, rallies a colorful cast of characters—including the founder of Nathan’s Hotdogs and the “World’s Strongest Man”—to save his family orchard from an unfair rent hike. In pursuit of their dreams, while challenging the ruling elite, these new friends discover the power of working together by joining their voices in song.
