PROJECT MUSIC Welcomes New Strategic Leadership Team

PROJECT MUSIC announces two key appointments to its organizational leadership, beginning with the arrival of Rachel Morrow as Managing Director.

Morrow’s career has centered around fundraising, outreach, and equity-driven work in nonprofits and arts spaces. Since stepping into the Managing Director position in October, she has helped advance essential operational and programmatic work, and has been instrumental in driving progress across operations, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. Her early contributions come at a pivotal moment, as PROJECT MUSIC enters a period of growth and initiates a comprehensive strategic planning process to guide the organization’s next chapter.

To support Morrow’s leadership and mission-driven priorities, PROJECT MUSIC recently welcomed Noelle Debes as its Development Director. In her role, Debes draws on her experience with organizations that support children and young adults, and a strong background in nonprofit communications, fundraising strategy, and community engagement.

Since 2014, PROJECT MUSIC has been creating meaningful connections with young people, providing them with the skills and experiences they need to reach their fullest potential in all aspects of their lives. Each year, the organization provides over 10,000 hours of immersive music education and performance opportunities that are life changing and empower young musicians to express themselves, build self-confidence, and develop the skills necessary to become the next generation of creative leaders.

To build on its success, and in collaboration with the Board of Directors, PROJECT MUSIC will begin developing a 4-year strategic plan to guide organizational priorities through June 2030.

“Our team is committed to a thoughtful approach to expanding program impact,” said Morrow. “I look forward to working with our Board to reflect on our history and create tangible, attainable, and sustainable goals for PROJECT MUSIC’s future - ultimately increasing equitable student access to music education.”

With its immersive approach to music education and after-school enrichment, combined with a focus on youth development and social-emotional support, PROJECT MUSIC helps bridge the opportunity gap for its students. Beyond school year programming, plans include expanded summer offerings, including local camps and workshops, plus opportunities for travel and performances.
