In a memorable collaboration, the talented young musicians from Project Music had the exciting opportunity to perform alongside students from King Middle School at a recent Winter Sports Showcase. The request came from The King Athletic department, seeking a Pep Band to energize the atmosphere during timeouts and halftime. Embracing this opportunity, I assembled a dynamic Pep Band, featuring some of the exceptional students from King Middle School's band. Additionally, I extended invitations to our Project Music Rhapsody ensemble and, potentially, some students from our etudes program

Save the Date! Join us for the annual El Sistema Residency, hosted at King School in partnership with Project Music, on April 6, 7, and 8, 2024. This year, we are thrilled to invite nine El Sistema-inspired programs from across the Northeast for a weekend brimming with creativity and collaboration! The residency will focus on collective composition, centered around the theme of Digital Wellness.
We are honored to feature the talented composer and conductor Giovanni Santos, who will lead more than 120 young musicians and teaching artists coming together for an incredible weekend. Additionally, prepare to be amazed by a spectacular performance from the world-renowned beatboxer Kaila Mullady. Gabrielle Molina Leads Key Forums for El Sistema USA, the National Member Alliance for El Sistema-Inspired Programs
Project Music proudly announces the ongoing leadership of Gabrielle Molina, our Executive Director, in the Program Director/Manager Forums organized by El Sistema USA. The national member alliance organization serves as the collective voice for all El Sistema-inspired programs, comprising 140 programs, engaging over 6,000 teaching artists, and reaching approximately 25,000 students nationwide.

Project Music is proud to announce the successful inauguration of the Project Music Collective [PM Collective], our new professional performing ensemble. This ensemble, composed of our esteemed teaching artists, made its debut with a spectacular concert on January 25th at the King School, marking a significant milestone in our organization.
The PM Collective, a genre-agnostic group with expertise ranging from classical to jazz, showcased their exceptional talents at their first concert, held specifically for our students, families, and in partnership with Music in the Woods. The ensemble's performance was a masterful display of musical versatility, seamlessly blending intricate classical compositions with the vibrant, soulful rhythms of jazz. Embark on a captivating musical journey on Thursday, January 25th, at 6:00 PM, as Project Music Faculty collaborates with Music in the Wood, gracing the esteemed King School Theater alongside the exceptionally skilled harpist Lisa Tannebaum. This concert guarantees an enchanting exploration across classical and jazz genres, showcasing the collective artistry of renowned musicians such as violinist Quan Jiang, flutist Carmen Delgado, oboist Pedro Falcon, trombonist Garret Mendez, trumpeter Joe Kozlowski, clarinetist Gabrielle Molina, and saxophonist Tommy Weeks.
