Rachel is proud to serve as the Managing Director on the Project Music team.
Her career has centered around fundraising, outreach, and equity-driven work in nonprofits and arts spaces. Previously, she worked as the Director of Fundraising at Adam's House in Shelton, CT and as the Director of Development for People and Animal Learning Services in Bloomington, IN.
During her time as an Outreach Specialist for the Oklahoma State Regents, Rachel also worked for Oklahoma arts organizations including Cimarron Opera, Lyric Theatre OKC, and Sooner Theater and was recognized as an honoree for the NextGen Under 30 in the Arts.
She earned a BA in Music and Theatre from Mercer University (Macon, GA) and an MM in Voice from the University of Oklahoma and is an active professional vocalist and performer. She has worked artistically and administratively for organizations including the Jewish Theatre of Bloomington, the Performing Arts Collaborative, Stages Bloomington, Peach State Opera, and Capitol City Opera. She has been fortunate to perform in professional vocal ensembles, operas, and musicals regionally and internationally.
All of her professional and artistic experiences reflect her passion for the power of storytelling. She is excited to tell the impact story of Project Music and help expand access to immersive music education for all students.
