Eleanor Lowenthal Memorial Instrument Fund Established

Ele Lowenthal was a champion of PROJECT MUSIC since its founding in 2014. Her support for the program stemmed from her lifelong love of music and her 40+ years of volunteer experience in the management of youth music programs. Ele gave her time and talent abundantly for the benefit of so many young Stamford musicians, many of whom have gone on to successful careers as performers and teachers, and all of whom benefited from the life-changing experience that a first-rate arts program provides. The Eleanor Lowenthal Fund was established by her husband Mort Lowenthal and their daughters Terri Lowenthal, Emily Cassella and Meg Lowenthal Akabas to continue her legacy by ensuring that Project Music is able to supply all students who are interested in participating in Project Music with high-quality instruments for their studies and performance.

If you would like to make a donation in Ele’s memory, you can do so by choosing “Eleanor Lowenthal Memorial Fund” here.
