PROJECT MUSIC Welcomes New Board Member
Larry Siebert was recently named to the PROJECT MUSIC Board and is the Chair of the Development Committee. A licensed attorney until his recent retirement from the Connecticut Bar, Larry Siebert enjoyed a 40-year business career acquiring, financing, selling and leading a variety of manufacturing and distribution businesses. He led Chembio Diagnostic Systems Inc. in Medford, NY for over 20 years, initially as Chairman, and later also as President, until 2014. Growing from a startup to a leading Long Island company with over 200 employees, Chembio became a public company and began trading on the NASDAQ exchange in 2012. Prior to and following his tenure at Chembio, Mr. Siebert was employed by private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and investment banking companies in Connecticut: Stanwich Partners, Siebert Associates, and Woodbridge International. Upon his retirement from business, Mr. Siebert rekindled his lifelong passion for music by joining or founding some area rock bands and a jazz group, and by pursuing a degree in music. Mr. Siebert received his BA in Guitar Performance from the Berklee School of Music in 2022. He also has a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, OH (1981) and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT (1978).
