PROJECT MUSIC Welcomes New Managing Director, Rachel Morrow
A New Chapter for PROJECT MUSIC
PROJECT MUSIC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Rachel Morrow as its new Managing Director. With a dynamic background in arts administration, fundraising, and equity-driven nonprofit work, Rachel brings a deep passion for storytelling, community engagement, and the transformative power of the arts to her new role.
Her career has been rooted in building equitable access to arts and education. Most recently, she served as Director of Fundraising at Adam’s House in Shelton, CT, and as Director of Development for People and Animal Learning Services (PALS) in Bloomington, IN. Rachel also worked as an Outreach Specialist for the Oklahoma State Regents, while simultaneously contributing to several Oklahoma-based arts organizations including Cimarron Opera, Lyric Theatre OKC, and Sooner Theatre. Her dedication to the arts and community impact was recognized with a NextGen Under 30 Award in the Arts.
Rachel holds a BA in Music and Theatre from Mercer University and an MM in Voice from the University of Oklahoma. As a professional vocalist, she has performed in vocal ensembles, operas, and musicals both nationally and internationally. Her artistic, educational, and administrative work spans organizations such as the Jewish Theatre of Bloomington, Peach State Opera, Stages Bloomington, and Capitol City Opera.
At PROJECT MUSIC, Rachel oversees strategic operations, development, and community partnerships, ensuring that PROJECT MUSIC continues to thrive as a hub of excellence and inclusion in music education.
“Since joining the PM family in October, I’ve witnessed the leadership and talent of our students, the commitment and generosity of our families, and the support of our Board, staff, and donors. I’m honored to be a member of this incredible community,” shared Rachel.
During this transition of leadership, the PROJECT MUSIC community came together to thank our outgoing Executive Director, Gabrielle Molina, and to welcome Rachel to the family.
