We are proud to announce that two of our talented students, Emily Iniguez and Darwin Padilla, have been selected to participate in prestigious CMEA festivals this year.
Emily, a flutist with eight years of dedication to Project Music, and Darwin, a clarinetist making remarkable progress after just two years, showcase the talent and commitment of our students.

Two of our incredible parent leaders, Nidia Carías and Daffne Cosgrave, have graduated from the UConn People Empowering People (PEP) program! The 10-week course, offered in Spanish, helps parents strengthen leadership skills and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

At the heart of Stamford’s thriving arts community, a remarkable collaboration recently unfolded, showcasing the transformative power of community partnerships. A 5’8” ebony Baldwin grand piano, once a cherished centerpiece in the home of Susan DiMattia, found a new purpose through the shared vision and generosity of local organizations.Susan DiMattia, former president of Stamford’s Friends of the Ferguson Library, a former PROJECT MUSIC Board member, and a longtime supporter of the organization, donated the well-loved instrument to PROJECT MUSIC.

Joyful Sounds of the Season Performance Marks a Joyful 2024 Close
On Monday, December 9th, PROJECT MUSIC brought the Joyful Sounds of the Season to life at King School’s Performing Arts Center with an unforgettable Holiday Concert. Featuring captivating performances by our Amadeus String Ensemble, Concert Band, and Project Music Collective, the students thrilled the audience with a festive lineup of holiday music.
Project Music leadership participated in LA Phil’s YOLA National Accelerator
We’re thrilled to share that Project Music recently participated in the YOLA National Accelerator program, an invitation-only initiative hosted by the LA Phil from November 7-10. This all-expenses-paid experience brought together leaders from a select group of transformative music programs, including our own Executive Director, Gabrielle Molina, and Program Director, Pedro Falcon, for an immersive gathering dedicated to advancing youth music education.

We are thrilled to announce that flutists Emily Ortega and Ailyn Martinez, alongside percussionist Jorge Sena, have been selected to participate in Ravinia’s prestigious Seminario Orchestras for All. Ravinia, located in Highland Park, Illinois, stands as one of the oldest and most esteemed outdoor music festivals in the United States. Renowned for its summer residency by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Ravinia hosts a diverse array of concerts spanning classical to contemporary genres, showcasing world-class musicians.

Our Grand Finale Concert: A Year-End Success
Our Grand Finale Concert was a resounding success, providing a perfect platform for our students to showcase the hard work and dedication they've put in throughout the school year. The evening was filled with vibrant performances from our talented students, with Concert Band, Ellington, and Strings all taking the stage. Each group delivered remarkable performances, reflecting the progress and growth they've achieved over the past year. This finale concert marked the premier of Project Music’s first string quartet!
