Recapping PROJECT MUSIC Finale Concert 2025
On Thursday, May 29, the King Performing Arts Center in Stamford was filled with music and excitement as PROJECT MUSIC presented its annual Finale Concert. Students, families, and community members came together for an evening that showcased the incredible progress our musicians made throughout the year.
The concert featured performances by all PROJECT MUSIC groups, from our newest beginners to our most advanced students. Each ensemble performed pieces that demonstrated their hard work and musical growth over the academic year. This year brought an exciting first: several students performed solo pieces with piano accompaniment, showing their growing confidence and artistic skills.
We were thrilled to have guest pianist Suki Guerrier join us for these special solo performances. Her collaboration brought beautiful depth and elegance to each piece, creating memorable moments for both performers and audience members.
One of the evening's highlights was a jazz performance featuring Joyce DiCamillo, the renowned jazz pianist who is the Founder and serves as President of PROJECT MUSIC's Board of Directors. Her musical leadership and presence added something truly special to the program, showing the powerful connections music enables across our organization at all levels.
We want to thank everyone who makes PROJECT MUSIC possible: our dedicated students for their hard work, our committed staff who support our young musicians every day, our families for their ongoing support of our community program, our strong partnerships like the one with King School and beyond, our Board of Directors for their continued guidance, and all our supporters who help us continue making a difference through music.
Congratulations to everyone who made this night so special!
